Our 全年校园 (YRC) program adds even more value to a University of Mary education — already one of the most affordable among private universities nationwide.

By adding a full summer semester to the school year, 全年校园 makes it possible for you to get a bachelor’s degree in 2.6 years 和 a master’s degree in four years. You’ll graduate sooner 和 get a head start on your career — 和 your life.

The 全年校园 Advantage

全年校园 provides students with a significant financial advantage.

  • An independent analyst estimates the lifetime benefit to be over $320,000 for bachelor’s degree participants 和 over $600,000 for master’s participants — a combination of saved tuition, reduced debt, 和 an early start to career earnings. 

But there’s more to the program than cost savings. With 全年校园:

  • You’ll be supported. A dedicated faculty member is assigned to mentor each student in the program.
  • You’ll be immersed in a rich educational community. 全年校园 brings prominent guest speakers 和 visiting scholars from around the country to Mary. 
  • 你会旅行. You can still take advantage of Mary’s many study abroad opportunities, 和 all students take a trip during the summer semester — everything from hiking in the Badl和s to visiting the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg. 
  • You can still participate in Division II athletics. The NCAA has given the program its stamp of approval. 
  • 你仍然可以工作. Full-time students can work up to 20 hours a week for the entire semester, earning up to $3,000.
  • You’ll still get a vacation. 全年校园 participants have seven weeks of vacation during the year, in addition to several scheduled holidays. 
  • You’ll have flexibility. If you start the program 和 find it isn’t the best fit for you, no problem — we’ll work with you on a degree plan that meets your needs. 
  • 你会玩得很开心的. Unlike the sleepy vibe at most campuses, Mary is alive with things to do in the summer. And nothing compares to the beauty of a North Dakota summer.

Activities through 全年校园

As part of the YRC summer semester, students travel to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in western North Dakota to explore with historian 和 scholar Clay Jenkinson.
Students who participate in 全年校园 experience one-on-one learning opportunities, smaller class sizes, 和 special activities. Classes like Intro to Photography take the classroom outdoors to enjoy the beautiful season on campus.
全年校园 students can enjoy sunny days on the water at Harmon Lake. 学生的娱乐 & 健康 gives free passes to YRC students to rent kayaks 和 paddle boards at the lake.

奖学金 和 other financial aid still apply with 全年校园. Because time to degree is shorter, tuition payment time is shorter. We help students 和 families through this process.
